Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) was established in 1996. It is India's second-largest carmaker with a 15% market share. Currently, it offers 14 models, Including 7 SUVs, 1 Sedan, 3 Hatchback, 2 Compact SUV, and 1 Compact Sedan. In October 2024, Hyundai Motor India also launched a $3.3 billion initial public offering to invest more on research, development, and the introduction of new electric and hybrid models to focus on sustainability. It also exports cars to international markets such as South Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
